We rushed through the venues kitchen into a small and rather stuffy back stage room, where I was supposed to take my portraits of Lee Fields. I know his music and the 45′ of “Ladies” is a regular spinn on my turntable. So when I got to photograph him for The Message Magazine I was thrilled. What a nice and friendly person I got to meet. Love shooting my heroes.
